E-Platero formerly known as Pampero (Precise Assistant for the Modeling Process in an Environment Refinement Oriented) is a plugin developed for the Eclipse Platform funded by LIFIA, IBM and UAI.

E-Platero, is an educational CASE tool used to support model-driven software development process using graphical notations with formal foundation.

This plugin comes with model and meta-model explorer, type diagram editor, Object Constraint Languaje (OCL) Editor and OCL Evaluator.

The model explorer and type diagram includes visualization of OCL constraint errors detected by evaluating the OCL rules typed by the user. (currently at meta-model level) The OCL editor is aware of OCL grammar (syntax highlighting, errors highlighting, content assist, etc).
