SQLExplorer is a visual database design/query tool implemented as a plugin for Eclipse. SQLExplorer is a fork off of the JFaceDBC project. SQLExplorer started life because development on JFaceDBC slowed down ( or stopped ) and the primary developer could no longer devote enough time to the project. In fact, SQLExplorer is not much more right now than the last good source code cleaned up and patched up a bit.
